Complaining

As I reflect on this devo, I am convinced that we are living in a culture of complaining. I find it tempting to join the culture and I am challenged by God and this devo to resist the temptation.

I complain way too often, I am convicted to reign in this sin! Oh, wow, yes, it is a sin and I must be honest about that and stop sinning!

How about you? How do you feel about your complaining? Do you justify it?

It is a bad habit and I I am convicted to stop!

So, stop your complaining!
God bless you,
PJ

  1. This one hit home. I have a bad tendency to complain. I have noticed the past few days (missed my devotional time) I have been a bit more gripy. When I look around me and open my eyes to see others, I have no basis to complain. God is taking care of me. Yes, my knee hurts and I had surgery, but my wife had to have her knee replaced. My shoulder hurts and I am facing surgery, but I have a friend who is facing shoulder replacement. Management might not do things the way I think they should, but I have a good job that I enjoy. There are so many in this world that are worse off than I am in so many countless ways. Father, the next time I tend to complain, remind me you are with me and are everthing I will ever need in this world. Thank you Father.
