I love this subject. My dear wife uses this idea to explain it; This subject simply requires us to respond in the most God honoring manner! As much as possible, as often as possible, I must make sure that I respond to life in a manner that pleases God. That is responsibility!
God is watching and listening. He knows if we are being responsible, even if no one else knows.
Be responsible!
Today is the 35th Anniversary for Dawn Marie and me. She is the joy of my life. I am grateful for her love and companionship. Over the next three weeks my blogging may be more sporadic than usual. Spending some extra time with my wife... that is a responsibility I have... and I will fulfill it with joy!

Over the years I have had a lot of different responsibilities. Because of my attitude and actions I have lost some of that responsibility. When I get to thinking I am bigger than I am, I lose perspective and begin to say things and do things that are not pleasing to those in authority. The same thing happens when I am doing work for the Lord. When I get to thinking I am in charge and things should go my way, God is not pleased and sometimes has to take me down a notch or two to remind me that He is in charge and it is His plan. I am to do the work and leave the rest to Him. I have found more joy in doing my work and taking care of my responsibilities when I recognize He is in charge and I leave the results of my work to Him. He has a plan and my part is to be responsible by being prepared and doing whatever comes my way in a way that portrays Jesus to others and not myself.
