Working!

I have to admit, I tend to be a workaholic, I tend to get my value from working. I know there can be good in it, but also it can be bad. In fact, this can be a habit that needs to be healed.

And as an employer, I can tend to expect more from others than I should. Keeping a proper Biblical viewpoint is so important for me.

I know that I must honor God by being a faithful worker for the glory of God. And do it in such a way that God is truly lifted up and I do my job with excellence.

Are you working in such a way that God is glorified?

God bless you,
PJ

  1. Probably one of the things that saved my job in years past is that I did a good job. My attitude needed adjusting and with professional counseling and the forgiveness of God and others, I was able to continue working. Now, through daily devotions, I strive to do my best at work, regardless of how I feel about management, so that others will see Jesus through me. It is not something that just happens. I must choose each day and moment to do the best job I can for my company.
