I grew up singing a church song called "Trust and Obey". Frankly the words of the song are great. However, the practice is harder. When we begin to worry about the problems of life, we panic. Trusting God empowers us to conquer panic.
I don't know about you, but, I have had some feelings of panic when life goes sour. I continue to apply the song: Trust and Obey! Trust God and obey the principles of God's word for how to live and what to do.
I challenge you to read God's Word, Pray, Praise God in songs and trust God to guide you. You will overcome or prevent panic!
What makes you panic? What do you do to overcome panic?
God bless you,
PJ

I am a control person. Plain and simple, I like to do it myself so it gets done the way I want it done. I like to prepare and be prepared so nothing takes me by surprise. When things are out of my control, I stress, worry, and even get angry, all symptoms of Panic. Reading God's word and communicating with Him on a daily basis, both in quiet time and throughout my day, helps me put every situation in His hands. Some He lets me handle and some are to be left in His hands. He is helping me see that I don't have to do it all, be in charge of it, and it doesn't have to be done my way. A pretty peaceful alternative to panic when I can let it go. Father, help me to Trust in you for everything and to know when You are working through me and when You are working through others and doing it your way. Thank you for taking care of me in all things.
