God can make us happy! That is quite a thought. I have read that Godly happiness is not dependent upon happenings, it is dependent upon obedience. The happenings can be miserable but we can be happy in spite of our happenings or circumstances. I have learned that Godly happiness is dependent upon my obedience and, for me, it is a sense of contentment. I can remember as a young boy being assigned some task to accomplish and when Dad would come home I would be happy to show him my accomplishment and it made me happy to know he approved.

I get so caught up in the things of this world. Daily life throws all kind of things my way. Many make me happy, some don't. It is the way of life. God made me this way. However, when I realize that He cares for me and I do my best to live for Him, I can be truly happy even when things here on earth do not go the way I like.
