When I read and think about the word, RESPONSIBILIITY,I think about "respond sensibly". That really makes sense! That is exactly what responsibility is about. However, there is an element that influences our idea of what is sensibility? What gives us our standard of sensibility? For me it is the Bible. I need to act and respond sensibly based upon Biblical Truth. For example; the Bible says that we are not to engage in sexual relations before we are married... that is Biblical responsibility. Yet, the world would likely say, "just be careful and protected". That is worldly sensibility.
I choose to act, live, and think Biblically responsible. Respondsensibly!
Remember, we are responsible for our actions and Jesus Christ is the judge... not the secular world or any other opinion.

One of the biggest problems I see in people's lives today is blaming others for their own actions. It is so easy for me to say it was because of you I did this or didn't do this. The key to my salvation is for me to look up to God and say "I am a sinner" and no one made me sin. It was my choice and therefore my responsibility to admit it and repent. My daily communication with God and reading His Word helps me see this. Father help me accept responsibility for my actions on a daily basis.
