This devo makes me think about being a good friend and witness to those around me. I get so busy with my schedule of working with church people that I do a poor job of making friends with neighbors in order to simply be their friend and help point them to Christ. I firmly believe that God's plan is for all believers to be friendly and invite friends to Christ and His church. I am challenged to be a better Christian friend and make an eternal difference in their life

This one is difficult to interpret sometimes. However, I believe it is a choice I make on a daily basis in how I act or react to those I come in contact with. Saying a kind word, smiling at someone, opening a door, are all ways to be show love to my neighbor. But those are easy things to do and become automatic with practice. However do I go the extra mile in tougher situations. A car broken down, someone asks me for money, a request to help someone move, visit someone in the hospital. Sometimes I find it easier to be kind to a stranger than it is to my own family, yet they are more important to me than any stranger. Father help me to show your love to those I come in contact with on a daily basis. Thank you for loving me so much.
