Today's devo evoked interested thought for me. While I completely agree with the author, I find that many people use prayer almost like a superstitious response rather than a sincere form of communication with the Almighty God of the Universe.
Yes, pray. No, don't engage in some mindless repetition that is done like some superstitious formula. Personally take time to talk to God about the things of your life, family, work, etc... He is there to listen.
How is your prayer life? Have you prayed for your life circumstances today?

Very thought provoking. I don't consider myself to be superstitious, but how many times do I say good luck to someone instead of using a phrase dependent upon God.
