I have heard people say, "He is quite a character" and it wasn't really intended as a great compliment. The character noted in this devo deals with who we are when no one is watching and or listening, even when we think no one will ever know.
God desires for us to be people in His image and reflecting His character, not for show, but as a basic of how we think, act and live all the time... in private and in public.
Our character is really revealed in the most private times of life. Everyone has a good performance for the public, what are you like in private... that will reveal your character.
"God send your Holy Spirit to work so strongly in me that it influences every area of my life, in private and public. So that I may be a person of Godly character."

Humbling devo this morning. Reflect God's character. He wants me to show others what He is like and how He loves them. I cannot do this. I must let Him be in control of my life so that His character shines through.
