I am inspired by hearing stories of God's mighty power and presence at work. I am inspired by people who are faithful not particularly famous. I am inspired by people who are persistent when everyone else wants to quit. I am inspired by BIG dreams that are backed by faith, when it looks impossible. I want to have God work in me to be faithful in good times and bad times. I want to be inspirational because I have God living in me.
What inspires you? Where do you get your inspiration?
God bless you,
PJ

Your leadership inspires me, Pastor Joe. Thank you. How can I inspire others? I don't know and I really don't think I should spend much time thinking about it. For me, I need to study God's word daily and learn the lessons He teaches about leadership and then emulate that as a leader, parent, grandparent, etc. If I can but portray a little bit of God's character, then He will use it to inspire others. If I give my leadership roles to Him and let Him work through me, then the results are His. Father help me to pay attention to your Word and daily apply it to my life.
ReplyDeleteLeadership is such an awesome responsibility. How someone uses that is the true sign of leadership. I am so glad of the leadership that Pastor Joe has. Leadership is not just the decision to manage, direct or order the way of a group of believers. It is the respect earned by the knowledge taught and learned. I respect that Pastor Joe teaches by the lessons he has learned by experiences he has gone thru. God grants that we will fail in our life here on earth. God places around us the resources to overcome the challenges we face, the most important resource is the leaders we look to here, and the insight they teach. The most important lesson I have ever learned is that all lessons, Pastors and Churches I place trust in, must be inspired by God. That inspiration is evidence that God is using that resource to protect, guide and teach you the true word of God. A Pastor with a brand new Bible unused and no notes inside is a scary thought. The eyes need to be on God, not in the notes on a telepromter.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lord for Pastor Joe and all the Pastors out there in the wilderness teaching the true Word. Build them up so they may continue the inspiration needed to build the following, God truly wants of us here on earth.
