Never Alone

I don't know how many times I here people say, "Where is God?" More often than we like it feels like God is not near when we need Him.

Since the Bible informs me that God's way is perfect, He knows everything, and all things work together for good, I have to trust that GOD is NEAR, watching over me and somehow working for my good.

When I don't feel God near, I know it is time for me to listen more, get into the Word of God more faithfully and trust more fully. I also try to do what I know is right for me according to the scripture and be faithful. He really is there?

If you feel like God is not near, don't lose heart, stay faithful, God is near and He will help you through this difficult time.

God bless you,
PJ

  1. When I don't feel God is near, Satan hammers me with thoughts that God is gone or that I have failed in some way and drawn away from Him. My faith in God is strengthened by my daily reading of His Word which tells me the truth. God will never leave me nor forsake me. So, when I do not feel His nearness, I check my actions and attitudes to make sure I am following His Word, then just Trust Him. It is much easier when I have spent my daily time with Him.

  2. I am finding that the more I devote time to these daily devotions, the more I am asured that God is there, that I am staying the course, that my way is lit by His hand and wisdom. The way is made easier when we support it daily with these little gems called devotions, they appear to be just little items of words, when they are in reality the grout that sets my foundation. The tiles are my time in the Word, these devotions seal what the Word teaches, and my Faith in God is my torch. Thank you Pastor and Thank you Lord that this blog is teaching so much.
