This was good for me today! Loving in more than words... demonstration of obedience is essential. The Bible tells us that people say, Lord, Lord, but don't do what Jesus says. I am committed to showing my love and faithfulness to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit by obeying everyday in every little and big way possible.
I am choosing to move beyond desire to faithful actions of obedience to show my love to God.
I am captured by Jesus' words; "If you love me, you will obey me". John 14:15
I am choosing to show my love to God!
Go love (obey) God today!

The devotional today speaks of mercy and humbleness as ways to show our love to God. It is so interesting that the messages to date point to my making a choice. God's plan of free will is so amazing. He has give me control over my life. I am not a puppet dancing to the will of the master. I choose my path by giving God my love and respect. I show Him this love by obedience to His Word. When I fail, be quick to repent.

2.Show mercy: God showed me mercy when he accepted me in spite of my sinful nature.
3.Be humble: I am nothing with out God.
