My little granddaughter loves to play "hide and seek." Today we read about hiding our sin from God. The difference between the game I play with my granddaughter and the game we play with God is that she wants to be found and when we hide our sin from God, we don't want to be found out.
It is essential for each of us to remember that God knows anyway... no matter what we do, God knows. While there may be some person who doesn't know, God knows.
I want to live in a way that God can watch and say; "Well done!"
No hide and seek with God... He knows where we are hiding and He knows what we did!

Why do we think we can hide from God. In my rebellion I wasn't trying to hide from God but was simply exerting my own will over His. I wanted to do my own thing. Unfortunately my choices led to some actions that I hope and pray are buried in the deepest sea, never to be remembered against me again. When I stand before God, nothing will be hidden. All will be revealed. Thank God for his forgiveness and redemption plan that will cover all my sins on that day...IF I continue to live for Him. Daily communication with my Father helps me make right choices and to live for Him.
