Actions Speak Louder than Words

I've heard it most of my life; "Actions speak louder than words!" While I don't remember who said it first, somehow, it has stuck with me. People say "I love you" and then treat (actions) each other very unlovingly. God put action to his intentions, He gave His son Jesus to die for our sins. That is how God showed His love to us and now He draws us to Him with the Holy Spirit.

How do you show your love to God? Remember actions speak louder than words. What do you do with your time, talent and treasure? Do you say you love God or do you show Him you love Him?

What do you do to show your love to your spouse, family, friends, etc???

God showed you that He loved you... how are you showing Him that you love Him?

Have a great day!

  1. I have a hard time comprehending or even accepting that God loves me so much that He pursues me. "ME". I have failed so much over the years, that Satan tells me that God has given up on me. I am insignificant to Him or His work. I have nothing to offer. Yet his word tells me otherwise. I must choose to believe His Word and Trust that His love reaches to even me. Father, You sent Jesus to die for ME. You gave ME your word. Your gift of salvation is for ME. Help my unbelief. Open my eyes Lord that I might see Jesus and the Love you show me each day. Thank you so much.

  2. I like Rich feels somewhat guilty of God's love for us. No matter what we did, how far we turned from Him or to what idol we sought after. God's arms and heart is there to accept you when asked. I am "Dumb-founded" by people that when in the midst of trials or problems seek God's guidance but then either don't follow it or says it's too much change or sacrifice to make. God gave His only child! Knowing that His child was going to be returned to Him in the manner Christ was.
I thank you everyday, every minute I can Lord for what love you show me. My heart beats to be a servant to you, for I am needing to show your love for me/us is not in vain and is not taken lightly. I am forevr humbled for your sacrifice.
