Learning about God's love is a remarkable life experience. Most of the time, we measure our love experience by how we feel about something. For me to discover that God loved me so much, even while I was a sinner, that He gave His son to take my guilt and punishment, that fact amazes me. Generally we love when someone is nice or kind or good to us... God loved us when we were terrible and wicked. That is amazing love!
Think about loving someone who is bad and doesn't deserve to be loved... that is what God has done for us! Wow! Think about loving the most evil person and realize that is what God has done for us. Wow! Amazing Love!
"Thank you God for loving "unworthy" me... even when I don't deserve it. What a great God you are!"

How can I know God Loves me.
ReplyDeleteI have to believe in the Word of God, then Trust that Word to be true. Then, when I read scriptures like these...
(John 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoseover believeth in him should no perish, but have everlasting life.
(1 John 4:10) Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
This brings me back to making a choice. God has made His choice. He has made the provision for me. All I have to do is choose to accept it. Nothing can separate me from the Love of God, except my own choice not to accept it. How Great is our God. Father help me to believe and trust in Your great love and accept it for myself. Thank you Father.
