Very often men think of love talk as sounding kind of, "foo foo" (a term in our family for feminine kind of things.) I think it is important for us to think about and even talk about how much God loves us.
John 3:16 is a great verse that tells us how much God loves us; "For God so loved the world that He gave His son..." Who or what would you give up a child for? I probably only began to understand God's love to me when Dawn Marie and I had children. Would I give up my kids for someone? God did for me! That is amazing love!
Think about how much God loves you and then try to tell someone about it.

I don't think I can ever comprehend how much God loves me. His Word tells me in very discriptive language, but I don't think my mind grasps it. Higher than the heavens in my mind is what I can see in the sky, but God sees the real heavens which are far beyond my ability to see. I must choose to believe His Word and stop trying to fit Him into my little mold. He loves me far more than I can begin to understand. Father help me to accept your love and to trust in you daily. Help me to show Your love in my life so that others may see a glimpse of You in me.
