For Giving

One of the best things I have ever heard is that "forgiveness is for giving!" While God is clear, our confession of sin is the foundation of our forgiveness. Our heart must also be willing to forgive others or we are not really recipients of God's forgiveness. In fact, if we have prayed to receive Christ into our life and experienced His forgiveness, we can measure how sincere we are by how willing we are to be forgiving of others.

The Colossians 3:13 verse is great!
God bless you,

  1. I struggle with taking things personally. Part of that is my personality and I must work on it with God's help. Part is that I find it hard to forgive myself. When I can not forgive myself, it is hard to forgive others. I need to lighten up, get over it and get on with life. People are more important than petty feelings. God forgave me no questions asked. I can do no less. Father help me in forgiving myself and others.

  2. My struggle is forgiveness of myself also. Yes, I am so thankful that Christ has forgiven me, but I struggle daily with accepting that forgiveness. I feel so undeserving, I was so separated from him, as I get deeper in my relationship and turn further away from my past, I learn more that the forgiveness Christ grants us is complete and what he gives not us, we need to place faith in Him and thank Him for His gift. This circle of Faith, asking for forgiveness, Christ granting and accepting the fruits of the Spirit all lead us closer to God's heart.
Thank you Lord, all praises I give you, Lord. Without you Lord, I am nothing, your guidance is what shows me your will. Thank you Lord.
