Relentless Ambition or Godly Motivation
Men, we need goals. We need to be motivated to fulfill God's purpose and plan for our lives. I have met men who have a relentless ambition to achieve. They do whatever it takes to achieve their goal... even misuse and abuse family and friends. I believe in goals and the pursuit of goals, but, we need to have Godly motivation not relentless ambition. Our first goal should be "Christ First". That is the name of our church youth group. Chi Alpha (Christ First). That should be our goal in everything we do. Remember... Chi Alpha! God bless you! Have a great day!

I never truly understood the importance in setting goals in my life, until I got saved. I have found I truly want to better serve God and to fully appreciate this, God needs me to follow though on all that I do. It is one thing to spead myself out and try to do all things and then fall short, because I have assumed to much and not listened to the direction of God.
ReplyDeleteI am excited, urged on and anticipating serving Christ, I do not want to ever forget that it is God's will, grace and desire that is my success. I pray everyday that my motivation is His direction, that God grants me the resources that I need to do the task, praying also holds me accountable.
My 1st daily goal is to start the day with Him in His word, reading devotionals, and praying. Then my goal is to live it so that my wife, family, friends, and co workers, see Him in my life.
