Snowed Out

Today I was at the church at about 5:40 a.m. and the snow made the FWC hills too slick to have services. I sincerely miss the fellowship of believers and corporate worship. However, personal and family worship is always possible.

The devo today challenged me to pray for God to open my eyes see His vision for my life more clearly. And I am challenged to act upon what I already know to be God's vision and purpose for my life. (Richard commented about that already... good word!)

Surrender to be and do what God has for you!

Have a great day,
Pastor Joe

  1. Days like today makes you slow down and concentrate on your surroundings more. Yes, the snow is cold, but it makes you aware that you need to know where you step, drive and how you do these simple things. Like God's will you need to slow down, become aware and know what God's will is for you. Your surroundings are important, godly people, environments and the Word all help as you go forth in the world. This emersion helps in keeping you in God's will and makes the way so much easier to navigate.
I pray that God's will is the awareness in me and that I am emersed in His will to achieve His doing for my life. I am gladen to the warmth that assures me that God is in my being, that I am in His hands being molded for His will.

  2. Our daughter's fiance came home from work this morning, woke her up and asked if she would like to go to church. (no snow in Tulsa last night). This is an amazing answer to prayer. Sometimes it is hard to simply "believe in His power, seek His guidance each day, and be alert to the ways that he answers you." Especially when it comes to our children who are away from the Lord.
