Battle Gear

I cringe when I watch a football game and a player looses his helmet and continues into action, sometimes head first. I think, "What is the matter with you, you could get hurt!"

When I adventure into life's battles without the "Armor of God", I could really get hurt. We find it in Ephesians 6:10-18. It was in our devo today.

There are several key things that capture me;
*Our real struggle is not against people... it is a spiritual battle.
*I need to put on all of the armor.
*Be alert, Pray for my victory and for other believer's victory.

Everyday is a battle and God has given us the spiritual armor to win. Go be a winner!
God bless you,
PJ

  3. These devos are freat. They are especially good for those of us that are not as conversent with the Bible, or are not the Born Forever, Believer, LOL
    I see that as I grow and learn to immerse myself in the word, I am also arming myself for the conflicts I will face and I am also fulfilling God's want for my life in Him. Like the sermon this Sunday, I really want to be Lost in His word. Thank You Lord.
