Everyone has influence

Each of us has influence! Sociologists report that even the most introverted person will influence ten thousand other people during his or her lifetime. That means each of us is either influencing or being influenced. I need to be careful about who is influencing me and I need to intentionally pray and plan to influence others for good and God. My prayers, my attitude, my actions, what I say, what I write, where I go, what I do, is all a part of my influence. "God help me to be a Godly influence!"
Who will you intentionally influence for good today?
God bless you, Pastor Joe

  1. I am so aware of the influence I have. My children remind me daily that I need to be sure of what or who is influencing me. Seek God daily is not just a verse, I need that nourishment. My actions, words and example are such great influences on my kids, on the people I meet and I don't even know.
Without God's word and direction it is like Pastor Joe says, we influence so many. We need to meet that daily challenge Pastor makes, Seek God's word, direction and influence. So that we may make the influence God needs us to make on His world.

  2. Again, I need to let go of my worries about influencing others and let God work through my life by being in tune with His Word. My influence for so many years was not very good, but the scripture in today's devotional is for me. "I have called you back from the ends of the earth so you can serve me. For I have chosen you and will not throw you away." Isaiah 41:9 What a wonderful scripture to start the week/year with.
