The Ephesians 3:19 (and 20) passage was good for me.
I desire to dream to be a Godly man and do a great work for him in my family and vocation. "God help me have the fortitude to do what I know you want me to do!"

This devotion excites me to truly seek God's direction for my life. John 14:12, inspires me for the greater things that God desires from me. The inspiration, knowledge and desire that I asked for, then excepted allows me to achieve these great works. This is what is exciting and motivational.

Basically I need to quit trying to do God's work and let Him do His work through me. Sounds simple, but is not.
ReplyDeleteFather, you will do your work through me. Help me be open to your word and guidance. Help me be observant to opportunities to be of service.
