I find strength and spiritual help by using God's Word to help me fight Satan's attack. I really like the phrase from Matthew 4:10 "Get out of here Satan..."
We have to know the Word of God in order to use it. So, I throw out the challenge, to try to memorize some of these verses, they will be great weapons against Satan's attack. I encourage each of us to share some of these great verses with our wife and or family. Tell them how God's Word is strengthening you.

How I wish I had stuck with learning scripture from my youth to now. What an arsenal I would have. One of Satan's attacks on me is that I have a hard time memorizing and I have bought into that. Time to use God's word and rebuke that ingrained thought. Father, it is time for me to learn and relearn scripture. Help me do my part in learning your Word so you can work through me to defeat Satan.
ReplyDeleteRich, I so agree with the "Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda" scenario. I accept the challenge, I no longer will "Buy In" to my shortcomings. I have the Lord on my side, I have accountability of my family in Christ and the Word is always in reach of my heart and hands. My path is determined in my council on a daily basis with God, my limits are the horizons that Christ's hands reached for on the cross. Satan I command you to get behind me and stay away! My Lord is my shepard and I know no want.
