I am grateful God is Almighty and able to be my defender for eternal purposes. God is my ultimate eternal warrior who has won my eternal victory. I am also very thankful that God is able to help me through my daily battles and He, by His Spirit and ministering angels is my warrior God. I realize there is a serious spirit world battle raging and God is victorious in the spirit world.
What does it mean to you that God is your Warrior?
Have a great day!

I think too many times in my life I have envisioned God as a passive non confrontational God of Love, Peace, Joy, Happiness, etc. And He is such a God. But, as you stated, we are in a serious battle and God is not sitting back waiting for the problem to just go away. He is standing ready to do battle for me, if I just ask Him and let Him. He has many names and maybe it is time I add some mental visions of just how mighty and powerful my God is. What is your envisionment of God as a Warrior. The Bible talks of shields, armor, spears as big as a weaver rod (do I know what that is?). What does my Warrior God look like to me? Right now I still see him in a white flowing robe. Not really a vision of a combat ready God. Father, you are mighty in word AND deed. Your Word tells me of your mighty power. I ask that you give me a mental picture of you standing in front of me, behind me, beside me, defending against the enemy.
ReplyDeleteIt means so much to me that God is my Warrior! This is like going to battle with the latest and greatest in armor, technology and firepower. A soldier would never consciousily go to war without his weapons and the best there is. I see god as the ultimate warrior! By this I don't mean the biggest or baddest, but the most intellegent, the best trained and the strongest in will.
ReplyDeleteI thank you Lord for the battles you have fought on my behalf, the battles yet to come and the ultimate battle when You return. I pray for the strengh to stand firm in the battles I have and yet to have. But, I know with you at my side I am always victorious.
