Take A Risk

These three devos on risk have been good. Last night I awoke with this idea... Take a faith risk not a fools risk. Much of what we do is a risk, but when we take a faith risk, we are doing what God would have us do, even if it feels risky. It may feel risky to pray with your wife. It may feel risky to witness to a friend. It may feel risky to stand up for Truth. But these are faith risks.

Avoid a fools risk... Satan tempts us with things that are risky. You know what your fools risks are... stay away from those risks.

Take on a faith risk for the glory of God. God is speaking to some of you about doing something for Him that feels risky. Do it!

God bless you!

  1. The feeling you get when you take on God's faith risk is so awesome!! Feeling the confidence build inside, seeing what doors open and the blessed answers to your prayers. What seems so risky is so much sweeter with His blessings and guidance. I strive daily to have this in me. I pray constantly for this to be known to everyone I meet. I know the risk looks so large, so impossible and so insurmountable. My worldly father always taught me that nothing in this life is easy, that anything worthwhile needs effort (Work) from you to achieve (Succeed). God wants from us- Faith, Belief and Prayer.
I want that glory of God!

  2. I feel that one of the risks in this day and age is simply taking a stand for God in our daily lives whether at home, work, church, or recreation. He has given us his word through daily devotionals and the Bible, the experience of others and ourselves. Father, help me to step out and take the land you have promised. Thank you for your promises.
